On Saturday 22nd September heavyweight boxers Joshua and Povetkin will go head to head in a titanic clash that is not to be missed.

The notorious anticipation leading up to the fight has created nail-biting tension amongst boxing fans.  The fight, which takes place at the high-profile Wembley Stadium in London, will be talked about far into the future with sports fanatics.

Leading up to the fight Joshua has been quoted in the press saying he is “frustrated.” After turning down the fight with Wilder – Joshua, the heavyweight world champion, has more to protect than ever so the pressure of his title rests on this fight.

Contrary to the hype – Eddie Hearn, Matchroom Sport MD and boxing promoter, admits concerns that the fight will not sell out.  He says “people are more interested in seeing Joshua fight Wilder” regardless of the aggressive media campaign promoting the fight on September 22nd.

Although the divide is straight down the middle with boxing fans we are sure it’s going to be a tough one. The Anthony Joshua and Alex Povetkin fight has been popular with Barca followers – our post sharing details of the fight has been shared across Facebook almost 100 times and counting.
